Every six weeks, many contemporary Pagans celebrate solar holidays. The solstices and equinoxes are ones you may know about. But what about the “Cross-quarter holidays,” those holidays that fall in between?
Turning the Wheel
A Free Online Course for Pagans, Pagan-Curious, and Seekers of Deeper Spiritual Connection
I am pleased to offer small, free classes on each of the holidays that occur throughout the Pagan Wheel of the Year.
For those of you who are curious or seeking, you will learn how to celebrate each holiday for yourself. You will discover the qualities of each holiday and the value each brings to the turning of the Wheel of the Year.
For those of you who have been practicing for many years – whether as a solitary or with a cherished group – you will enjoy the unique energy that comes with celebrating the holiday in a gathering of like-minded people, along with a deepening of your spiritual connection to the holiday as it approaches.
Our next class is in preparation of Lammas – keep reading for the full details!
Each class will be 45-60 minutes long on a Monday evening or late afternoon, depending on where you live. I will provide information about the holiday, we will share a small meditation or ritual, and then discuss about how to celebrate the upcoming holiday.
There is no obligation to attend all of the classes. You are free to attend as many or as few as you wish. The classes are delivered live via Zoom. All classes are recorded and the videos are made available inside our exclusive, private Facebook Group, typically within 48 hours. You are welcome to tune in live or to watch previous classes at your leisure.
Lammas is one of the great Cross-Quarter holidays celebrated by many around the world. It’s the first of the harvest celebrations, and a time to contemplate the gift of grains, what is given by Earth and changed, created anew by human hands. In many parts of the Northern Hemisphere, summer perennials still bloom, and in other places, the sun beats down mercilessly. What do we offer, sacrifice, and receive at this time of year?
Class Date: Monday, July 24th, 2017 at 7PM Eastern / 4PM Pacific
By signing up for the class, you will receive exclusive access to the The Way of The River Facebook Group and a regular reflection from me on a topic related to spirituality, delivered by email. The details for the Class are provided in the Facebook Group, as are the Class recordings, so it’s important you request access to the group. Once you have confirmed your registration, you will be sent an email with the link to join the group.
